Bryan Fischer, a hate group dominionist blames the lack of jesus as being a cause for the Aurora Colorado murders.  So we’ve had god as part of society for thousands of years, and jesus for about 1,900 years (formation of the church).  In all of those years the church nor god have stopped a single murder.  Hell, even jesus was murdered.  So a lack of god in our schools is what caused a man to have a complete break with reality and kill all those people?  You know if churches were even 1/3 full on any given Sunday it might be less laughable.  Not only is this guy completely delusional, but he’s dangerous.  He has a platform and people listen to him.  He needs to be called out on his bullshit, constantly, or he will continue to convince the weak-minded that he has a valid point (which he obviously doesn’t).  Fundies are dangerous.

CFA makes some great chicken sammiches but I wonder how they avoid the gay chickens.  Being a bunch of assholes is one thing but being assholes because you think you have christian values is a joke.  If they had any values they would be feeding the hungry, sponsoring food kitchens and women’s shelters.  But we know that christian values means a woman should be barefoot and pregnant and that only the things they believe are correct.  CFA can go fuck themselves.  Unfortunately being a private company, any boycotts will probably be ineffective.

I can’t agree more with Hemant about this.  First of all Christmas was not a “Christian” holiday until the church took it over winter solstice celebrations (in the 4th century, also the time period of the St. Nick myth) in order to win the hearts of the people they conquered.  Of course most history from that period is exaggerated, twisted, and downright storytelling so no-one knows the real facts.  But getting back to this group of zealots, they really need to get a life now, because after they die, they are worm food.

So according to Christians a person can’t be moral without god.  This article is just one example of that being a load of balony.  This serial killer was a minister and obviously doesn’t have a moral center regardless of his belief.  Now this would be considered cherry picking except that most murderers are christian.  And before a christian states “well they aren’t christian,” you don’t get to pick who is christian and who isn’t.  It doesn’t work like that, technically most christians are frauds but no-one has a right to make a distinction, that would be making a judgement and only the christian god is allowed to do that.
